Spicy Ginger Lime Noodle Soup

Great for the luteal phase and ready in less than 20 minutes. If only more of the girlies knew reducing their intake of cold and raw foods and eating more warm foods like soups would improve their digestion and help balance their hormones...

    Mince and crush garlic. Dice onion into thin slices. Peel ginger. Peel the rind of the lime. Chop jalepeño.

    Preheat a large pot over medium heat. Add oil once hot, then add the onions. Sweat for 2 minutes, then add the garlic and sauté for another minute.

    Add the broth, water, ginger, lime juice, lime rind, and jalepeño. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium low and add salt to taste. Simmer for 10 more minutes.

    To serve, add a noodle block to your bowl along with your protein of choice. Add the soup, and top with green onion, cilantro, and more onion if desired. Remember to remove the ginger and lime rind.
