Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala

Dice the chicken breast fillets and season with tikka curry powder, salt and pepper. Transfer to the slow cooker pan.

Next, add the diced onion, garlic, ginger, curry paste, passata and tomato puree.

Add a pinch of cinnamon, brown sugar and a teaspoon of cardamon pods.

Mix well with a wooden spoon and cover with lid. Cook on the high setting for 4 hours OR on low for 6 hours, if you would prefer.

Once the time is up, remove the slow cooker lid and stir in the reduced fat single cream.

Continue to cook on the high setting without lid for around 15/20 minutes.

Stir in the fresh coriander and serve over pilau rice with sides of your choice. Enjoy!
