Chicken, Bacon & Leek Hotpot

I was kindly gifted this gorgeous Mary Berry at Home casserole dish so decided to try out this chicken, bacon and leek hotpot recipe from @jonwatts88 with a few slight tweaks.

    Dice the chicken into cubes, chop/cut the bacon into strips and fry off with salt and pepper

    Add in the leeks until softened then add the plain flour

  3. 3

    Cook for one minute then add the chicken stock, creme fresh, mustard, frozen peas and parsley & bring to a simmer

  4. 4

    Cut your potatoes into discs no more than half a cm thick and top the mixture with them slightly over lapping

  5. 5

    Put the cubed butter on the potatoes with a bit of salt and pepper

  6. 6

    Cook in a 200g preheated oven for 45 minutes
