Zam Zam Biryani

This is not authentic style Zam Zam biryani but my style Zam Zam biryani without any biryani masala

Ingredients

For mutton

For chicken marination

For kofta

Directions

    Heat 4 tbsp ghee and 1/2 cup oil in a large vessel and add whole spices and shah zeera, let it crackle and then add 4 large sliced onions and cook till golden brown in colour

    Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min

    Add 4 thinly sliced tomatoes and cook on slow flame till tomatoes are cooked

    Then add 1 tbsp dhaniya zeera powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and sauté for 2 mins

    Add 250 gm beaten curd and mix till oil separates

    Add marinated chicken and sauté on high flame for 5 mins

    Then add cooked mutton with water and cook for another 5 mins

    Add handful of mint and coriander leaves and mix

  9. 9

    Layer it with 1/4 cut boiled eggs, French fries and kofta, sprinkle zaifel elaichi powder

  10. 10

    Layer it with 1 kg boiled basmati rice and top with some birista, boiled eggs, French fries, coriander and mint leaves

    Add few drops of kewra water and give dum for 10-12 mins
