    Marinate the chicken for an hour in the refrigerator.

    Deep fry the marinated chicken in 2 batches.

    Sét the fried chicken aside.

    In the same pan, add the mustard seeds, ginger/garlic paste, and sauté for a few minutes.

    Add the Kashmiri chilli powder, fenugreek powder, asafoetida, turmeric, and salt, and sauté on low flame for 1 or 2 minutes.

    Add the curry leaves, vinegar, and jaggery powder, and finally add the fried chicken.

    Cook for a minute, then switch off the flame and let it cool down completely.
