A rich & creamy Indian dish created during the reign of Emperor Genghis Khan (13th century) thus earning its name “Changezi” as a tribute to him.

    Marinate the chicken for an hour.

    Shallow fry the chicken on both sides for 4 minutes, cover and cook until 3/4 done.

    In the same pan, add 1.5 tbs of sunflower oil, sauté the chopped onions, ginger/garlic paste, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder.

    Sauté for a few minutes until the raw smells go.

    Add the tomato purée and cover & cook for a few minutes.

    Add the Greek yoghurt and sauté, then add the double cream and sauté for 2 minutes.

    Add the hot water and then add the fried chicken, cover & cook until done.

    Finally, garnish with kasuri methi, coriander leaves, and green chillies.
