Cook your steaks & while they rest - in the same pan fry off 2 x diced shallots & 2 x diced garlic cloves in 1 tbsp butter, add 1/4 cup beef stock, 1tbsp red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1-2 tsp ground black pepper - simmer together until thickened

Perfect easy fries - cut to size, par boil in heavily salted water for 2-3 minutes, drain and allow to steam out, then fry while you cook steaks in rice bran oil until crisp - cover with flaked salt & garlic powder.
