    Soften the Napa cabbage leaves in boiling water.

    Chop the shrimp until a shrimp paste forms. Mix with salt and pepper and place into a piping bag or plastic bag.

    To assemble the rolls, lay down a cabbage leaf and layer on the shrimp paste and veggies. Roll up the cabbage roll. Slice in half and place into a pot. Repeat to make the other rolls.

    In a pot, combine the broth ingredients and bring it to a simmer.

    Pour the broth over the cabbage rolls and cook over medium heat for about eight minutes or until the soup comes to a boil and the shrimp and veggies are completely cooked.
