Tenshindon or crab omelette over rice is a tasty, simple, Japanese dish that includes a salty and slightly sweet savory gravy. It is so full of flavor and incredibly easy to make. It’s one of the best ways to use up leftover rice!

    In a pot/pan over low heat, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add the remaining gravy ingredients and whisk consistently until it thickens to a gravy. Set aside.

    In a bowl, whisk together eggs and salt. Add imitation crab.

    Add oil to a pan and cook the omelette over low heat. Keep the top slightly runny.

    Serve the omelette over a bed of rice and add gravy.
