Tteok Kkochi Korean Rice Cake Skewers with Momos

Bringing a taste of Korea and Nepal to my kitchen. Combining two famous street food- TTEOK KKOCHI KOREAN RICE CAKE SKEWERS and MOMOS small, crescent-shaped dumplings, then steamed or pan fried. Sweet, spicy, chewy and heavenly!!

    Cook Korean Rice Cakes in hot water till they are soft.

    Drain the rice cakes and run them under cold water.

  3. 3

    Pat dry and insert them in skewers with frozen momos.

  4. 4

    Heat some oil in a pan and grill the skewers for one minute on each side.

  5. 5

    Mix the sauce from the tteokbokki pack (or use 2 Tbsp gochujang) with rest of the ingredients and 1/4 Cup of water.

    Add the mixed sauces to the skewers, and cook at low till the sauce thickens.

    Brush it on the rice cakes and serve right with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
