    Preheat oven to 175°C and line cake tins with baking paper.

    Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

    Combine egg, buttermilk, coffee, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl and mix well.

    Combine dry and wet ingredients together, taking care not to over mix.

    Transfer to three cake tins and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

    Let layers cool.

    To make chocolate ganache, melt dark chocolate and heavy cream together and stir until smooth.

    Let cool until spreadable.

    Assemble cake by filling with ganache.
