Brown Butter Chocolate-Chip Cookies

The formula for what goes into the base of a cookie is what helps me experiment with making different cookies whether it’s vanilla, chocolate, matcha, black sesame, peanut butter.. you get the gist

Ingredients

Directions

    Heat butter in a saucepan on low heat until browned. Remove from stove and add to sugar and brown sugar. Whisk until it resembles wet sand then add egg and vanilla.

    Sift flour and baking soda in (add pinch of salt too if you want) then gently fold until combined.

    Add dark chocolate chunks.

    Scoop dough onto baking sheet, then chill for 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 175 degrees celcius, then bake for 12-13 minutes until edges are slightly browned.

    Sprinkle with flaky salt and enjoy warm.
