Whisk warm milk, yeast, and a couple pinches of the sugar. Let’s stand for 15 minutes.

Add in the rest of the sugar, melted butter, yolks, salt, flour, and vanilla. Knead until smooth dough forms and let rise for 1 hour.

Divide into eight sections. Form balls and then flatten. Let rise for 15 minutes.

Combine all the streusel ingredients and blend with your fingers until a sand like texture forms.

Using a small cup or just your fingers make a divot in the center of the rounds. Pipe or scoop the filling into the center. Place the raspberries on top. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with a streusel topping.

Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes.
