The perfect combination of an almond croissant and a sweet bun!!

Knead all the ingredients (except butter) until smooth dough forms. Slowly start to add in the butter and knead until smooth.

Let rise for about an hour or until doubled.

Divide dough into equal parts, I divided into 8 pieces. Roll into balls and let them rise until doubled, I did 30 mins.

Combine all filling ingredients and mix until paste forms. Using the bottom of a small cup press an indent into the buns. Brush with egg wash. Add in the filling and top with sliced almonds.

Bake at 360 F for 20-22 mins. Cool and enjoy!
