Southern Fried Chicken with Bacon, Sweetcorn and Caper Sauce
Movie night (A Streetcar Named Desire) and Southern Fried Chicken with Bacon, Sweetcorn and Caper Sauce. The latter is basically a chowder and I haven’t written the recipe down yet but I’ll add it to the feed when I do.

Slice a large breast in half lengthways and pummel it with your weapon of choice to flatten it a bit.

Marinate in buttermilk for at least 4 hours.

Dredge in a mix of plain flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, onion powder, a tsp of baking powder and white pepper.
