Korean Spicy Braised Chicken

Also called Dak Dori Tang or Dak Bokkeumtang, it’s a Korean chicken stew with tender chicken and a spicy sauce ~ so delicious and easy to make

    Add onion, garlic, chili pepper, soy sauce, gochukaru, gochujang, mirin into a food processor.

    Pulse until finely minced.

  3. 3

    Add chicken, spicy paste, and 1 cup water to a stock pot.

  4. 4

    Bring to a boil then cover with a lid and lower heat to medium low and cook until tender, about 25-30 minutes.

    Uncover and add potatoes, making sure to submerge in the liquid.

  6. 6

    Cook until potatoes are tender and the sauce has reduced a little, about 10-15 minutes.

    Garnish with green onion or perilla leaves and serve with rice.
