This cake is a dark chocolate cake with brownie batter swirled inside!

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9x13 baking dish.

    Combine dry cake ingredients in a mixing bowl.

    Add in wet ingredients, minus the boiling water.

    Mix for 2-3 minutes till wet and dry ingredients are combined.

    Add boiling water and stir together.

    Open Brownie box and follow box directions. Pour brownie batter into cake batter and stir till fully combined.

    Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

    Remove cake from oven and let cool for 45-60 minutes.

    While cake is cooling, make ganache by heating up heavy cream for 2-3 minutes in the microwave.

    Pour over chocolate chips and stir till smooth. Let the ganache sit at room temp to thicken.

    Once cake is cooled, spread ganache on top of cake.

    Top off with rainbow chocolate chips or sprinkles. Slice and enjoy!
