    Gently boil the chickpeas with the bicarbonate of soda until they’re soft, about 15-20 minutes.

    Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then place them in a bowl of water to remove the skins.

    Drain the chickpeas and add to a food processor with all the other ingredients except the ice.

    Blend until it’s fairly smooth.

    Add ice cubes and continue blending until it gets super smooth.

    Garnish and enjoy.
