One-Pan Turmeric Chicken and Rice
Chicken and yellow rice was one of my favorite childhood dishes. It is such a comforting dish and super easy to prepare. I am sure it will become one of your favorites too!

For the chicken seasoning

Pour olive oil into a skillet pan on medium heat.

Add the spices, stir it together, and add the sliced onion.

Sauté the sliced onion for 1-2 minutes to get a nice golden color.

Add the garlic cloves and the chicken pieces. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Brown the chicken pieces from both sides for 3-4 minutes until they get a nice golden color.

Add the rice and pour 4 cups of boiling water. Mix it a bit.

Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 45-50 minutes.

Garnish with fresh chopped dill.
