Slow Cooker Creamy Parmesan Chicken Orzo

A delicious and filling slow cooker recipe with chicken, orzo, and parmesan.

    Add your chicken, onions, garlic, paprika, oregano and 100ml of your stock to the slow cooker; season with a little salt and a lot of pepper, mix well then cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 to 8.

    30 minutes before you want to serve shred the chicken with two forks, then add in your orzo and remaining stock. Pop the lid back on and allow to cook until the orzo is tender.

    Add in your cream and parmesan, taste for seasoning, then tuck in and enjoy.


Notes

Be sure to turn the slow cooker off as soon as you’ve added in your cream because otherwise the orzo can get a bit gummy as it sits.
