Hash Brown Cottage Pie
A delicious and easy recipe for a classic cottage pie with a crispy hash brown topping.

Spray a pan really well with some cooking spray then add in your onions along with a pinch of salt; allow to cook over a medium to high heat for about 5 minutes or until golden and slightly softened.

Next add in your mince and allow to fry for another few minutes until well browned; add in your dried thyme and garlic granules, alongside a pinch of salt and pepper, then cook for another minute.

Add in your mixed vegetables, fry for a further minute then pour over your gravy; stir well and then transfer to an ovenproof dish.

Top with an even layer of your hash browns followed by your cheese, then bake at 190c for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the hash browns and cheese are deliciously crispy.
