Super Simple Roti
A simple roti recipe to go with soups, curry, kebabs, and more.

Bring ingredients together in bowl.

Turn out on a lightly floured surface and knead about 5-7 min until smooth.

If the dough is sticky, add a teaspoon of oil to your work surface.

Take a small piece of dough (about a teaspoon size) and stretch it out.

If you can see the light pass through without it tearing, you’ve developed enough gluten.

If it tears, keep kneading.

Add about a teaspoon of oil to mixing bowl and place dough back inside.

Take a piece of paper towel and dampen it with water and place over dough.

Let rest 20 minutes.

Divide dough into 4 equal parts.

Roll out with rolling pin or hands.

Heat a nonstick pan to medium-high heat.

Lightly sprinkle pan with salt.

Place roti on pan.

Cook about 3 min on each side.
