Garden Vegetables and Rice with Everyday Asian Sawce

To a medium high pan, add onions and mushrooms and sprinkle with salt to draw out moisture.

Add carrots and broccoli.

Add about 2 tbsp water to the pan and cover immediately to let vegetables steam, about 2 min.

Deglaze pan with sake, scraping up the fond (brown bits at the bottom) until sake is reduced by more than 50%.

Add Sawce to the pan and cook until very thickened and reduced.

Remove from heat and add frozen peas and stir until heated through.

Serve over rice with garnishes.
