Directions

    Mix everything together very well for at least 3-4 mins and let it sit for couple of hours

    Flatten as much as you can and make round and big kababs because they will shrink and become thicker while frying

    Heat up oil and fry on medium-high 1-2 mins each side

  4. 4

    Wash daal and add everything in a pot (except baghar)

  5. 5

    Add 5-6 cups of Hot water and let it boil

  6. 6

    Cover and cook on low for 15-20 mins

  7. 7

    Adjust water if needed

  8. 8

    Beat a little bit to mash

  9. 9

    Heat up ghee or butter

  10. 10

    Add ingredients for tempering and when they are browned and crackling then add in daal

  11. 11

    Mix gently
