This dish is tender, rich in flavors with a taste of the classic Kapampangan Filipino dish Bistek.

    Marinate the liver with soy sauce, lemon juice, pepper and salt. Set aside for half an hour.

    In a pan fry garlic until golden brown. Set aside.

    In the same pan, sear the drained beef livers until tender (do not overcook). Set aside. Keep the marinade.

    In the same pan cook half of the onions until tender.

    Add the marinade and add 1/4 cup of water. Simmer until boil.

    Add in the livers and rest of the onions. Simmer for a minute and turn off the heat. We don’t want to overcook the livers.

    Transfer to a serving dish over rice topped with fried garlic and green onions. Enjoy!
