Slow Cooked Red Wine Ragu
Ending the week with the most delicious slow cooked red wine and @juicymarbles ragu

Cut the Filet into pieces and fry in olive oil until browned. Set aside.

In the same pot, add the celery, carrot and onion and fry for 5 minutes before adding the garlic.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes before adding the wine, chopped tomatoes, stock and tomato purée.

Stir everything before adding the seasoning.

Cook the sauce on medium heat for 45 minutes.

Next, add the beef back in and cook for another 45 minutes.

Taste and adjust flavours if needed and serve with pasta and fresh basil.
