Pecan Crunch Oat Latte
A remake of Starbucks' new latte with a fraction of the sugar and cost at home

Add 1 cup halved pecans to a sauce pan. Toast for 3 minutes, then add in 1 cup sugar (or maple syrup), 1 cup water, and 1 tsp pumpkin spice.

Simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring, then strain the pecans and transfer the pecan syrup to a jar.

(Optional) place your pecans on a parchment lined baking sheet and broil for 4 minutes to make candied pecans.

In your cup, combine 1 tbsp pecan syrup and 2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup brewed coffee). Stir, then add in about 1 cup heated and frothed (or steamed) oat milk.

Finish off a dash of pumpkin spice and the candied pecans and enjoy!!
