The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie

Golden on the outside and chewy on the inside, not too sweet and delicious with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and a glass of milk

    Cream together the butter and sugars until pale and fluffy.

    Beat the eggs in one at a time, adding the vanilla with the second egg.

    In a separate bowl stir together the dry ingredients until well combined.

    Add the dry ingredients to the cookie mixture and use a spatula to stir until almost combined.

    Stir in the chocolate chips, being careful not to over-mix the dough.

    Roll the dough into 70g balls and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

    Bake at 175C for 12-15 mins.

    When the cookies are ready, remove the parchment paper from the baking tray and leave to cool for 15 minutes before enjoying!


Notes

Optional: Sprinkle with sea salt before tucking in!
