    Mix the egg & Parmesan together in a small bowl, then leave to inside.

    Start cooking the linguine as per packet instructions, lightly salting the pasta water.

    Add oil & garlic to a pan and fry for a couple minutes before adding in the bacon and frying off until crispy.

    When the pasta is done, toss into the pan with the bacon and add in the pasta water and stir everything through for 2-3 mins.

    Take the pan off the heat & hob completely, then stir through the egg and Parmesan mix quickly. Keep stirring so the egg doesn’t scramble.

    Serve with some black pepper and extra Parmesan!
