Tuna Tartare with Avocado Mousse

This is such an incredible dish and you only need a handful of ingredients! Perfect for any dinner party, enjoy!

    Dice the tuna into small cubes of around ½ to 1 cm.

    Add the tuna to a mixing bowl along with the other ingredients, mix and taste if it needs any pepper.

    For the avocado crème, add the two ripe avocados together with the remaining ingredients in a tall cup and blend smooth with an immersion blender.

    For serving, place a round cookie cutters down on a plate and scoop the tuna mixture inside. Press down a bit and remove the cookie cutter. Add a few dollops of the avocado crème around the tartare and serve.

    You can also choose to first add a few dollops of the avocado crème in the cookie cutter and top it with tuna, however you prefer.

    Top off with sesame seeds and chopped chives.


Notes

If you don’t have an immersion blender, you could also mash up the avocado crème with a fork. The cookie cutter is also not essential, I just like it to serve the tartare in that way (but I still put big dollops of avocado next to it, so don’t mind me). If you want to store it I would store it separately, but last in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
