Yee Mee in Soup
Welcome to another episode of Meals Under 30 Minutes. Today, we’re making Yee Mee in soup that reminds me of home, and I’m going to show you how to save even more time.
Ingredients
For the soup
For the rest
Directions
- 1
Season the pork with salt, or use any protein of your choice, and set it aside.
- 2
In a pot, add chicken broth, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and pepper, then bring it to a boil. Add the pork slices, carrots, fish balls, fish cake, and bok choy stems. Let it simmer for a bit, then add the leafy part, bean sprouts and crack in an egg.
- 3
Take the Yee Mee straight out of the packet and put it in a bowl. That’s right, you don’t have to cook it! Top the noodles with the ingredients from the soup and pour the hot broth over it. The heat will soften the noodles—then it’s ready to serve!
