This dish might take a little more than 30 minutes, but it’s worth it! The most time-consuming part is stuffing the tofu puffs, but once that’s done, it’s smooth sailing. I always make extra to freeze for quick meals.

Directions

  1. 1

Add minced pork to a large bowl, followed by minced ginger, white pepper, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and salt. Mix everything until well combined. Then, add corn flour, water, and chopped spring onions, stirring until the mixture turns sticky.

  2. 2

Cut the tofu puffs and stuff them with the meat mixture. Pan-fry the meat side down first until golden brown, then rotate to cook the other sides until thoroughly done. Add a splash of water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.

  3. 3

While it simmers, make the sauce by mixing oyster sauce, sugar, dark soy sauce, cornstarch and water. Pour the sauce over the tofu puffs, allow it to cook briefly, and you’re ready to serve!
