Brown Butter Green Beans with Toasted Pistachios and Lemony Whipped Feta

Ingredients

Lemony Whipped Feta

Directions

    Chop pistachios.

    Mix chopped pistachios with Everything Bagel Spice, cinnamon, and cumin.

    Clean and trim green beans.

  4. 4

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  5. 5

    Add green beans and cook until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.

    Drain and place beans in bowl of ice water to cool.

    Drain well, and dry off beans with a towel.

    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Once butter darkens and smells fragrant, reduce heat to LOW.

    Add 3/4 of the pistachio mixture, reserving 1/4 for topping later.

    Add in beans.

    Sauté until heated through, about 5 to 6 minutes.

    Remove from heat and set aside.

    Make the lemony whipped feta.

    In a food processor, add all ingredients and process until smooth and not grainy, about 2-3 minutes.

    Spread the whipped feta evenly on the bottom of a serving platter.

    Top with the green beans and remaining pistachio mixture.

    Garnish with pomegranate arils and lemon zest.
