Preheat oven to 375F.

Mix together softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla.

Add in pumpkin purée and whisk until combined.

Whisk in egg just until combined.

Add in flour and baking soda and stir all together.

Scoop on a lined baking sheet (9 total cookies).

Bake for 12-14 min or until toothpick comes out clean.

For the icing, mix together powdered sugar, milk, and maple syrup.
