Apple Crisp
A fall staple recipe made every year, using a versatile crisp part that can be used for different seasonal fruits.

Spread out peeled and sliced apples in a baking dish.

Sprinkle 1 tbsp organic cane sugar, squeeze juice from 1/2 a lemon and add 3 tbsp arrowroot powder on top and stir.

In a bowl, mix together 1 cup oats + 1 cup packed dark brown sugar + 1/2 cup flour + 1/2 cup softened butter.

Sprinkle evenly over the fruit.

Bake at 350F for 45 min or until fruit mixture is bubbling and the top is golden brown.

Serve with your favorite ice cream.
Notes
Can easily double recipe and bake in a 9x13 dish instead.
