Japchae, Korean Stir-fried Glass Noodles

This is my all-time favorite banchan (side dish), but it’s become my staple dish for a full meal hehe

Ingredients

Directions

    Boil and rinse sweet potato noodles, then toss them with the marinade sauce (toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar).

    Blanch the spinach in boiling water briefly, then drain and gently press to remove excess liquid. Season it with soy sauce and sesame oil.

    Stir-fry each vegetable separately until tender. Season with salt and sugar.

    Marinate the thinly sliced beef (soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, sugar, and ground black pepper). Stir-fry until it’s done.

    Combine the noodles, vegetables, and beef in a skillet, add the sauce, and cook until the flavors blend.

    Garnish with sesame seeds.
