Steak Dinner with White Wine Au Gratin Potatoes

Ingredients

Pepper sauce

White wine au gratin style potatoes

Directions

    Finely slice the potatoes and add to an oven dish.

    Fry garlic in a little bit of butter before adding the wine. Mix in chicken bone broth and creme fraiche, season to taste. Add a sprinkle of parmesan and a cornstarch slurry to thicken it up.

    Pour the sauce over the potatoes, top with cheddar and bake for around 1.5 hours at 190. Take the foil off for the last 15 minutes.

    Mix beef stock with creme fraiche and lots of black pepper. Add some fresh thyme and leave to simmer for 10 minutes or so. Add a cornstarch slurry to thicken it up.

    Pan fry the asparagus and steaks to preference.
