Heat oil, add onions and fry till golden brown.

Add chicken, spices, tomatoes, potatoes, roughly chopped mint and coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, cardamom & green chilies. Mix well.

Boil water with salt, cumin, cloves, cardamom and bay leaf.

Add soak rice, and let it boil until 95% done & strain all water.

Top with coriander, mint leaves, fried onions, tomatoes and sliced chilies. Sprinkle red food color. Add boiled rice over the top. Drizzle some oil, again sprinkle some food color. Garnish with tomatoes, sliced lemon and mint leaves. Cover the lid.

Give it a dum over a high flame for first 10 minutes then cook on low flame for another 15 minutes. Once the steam is full in pot. Itβs ready.
