Sweet and Sour Pork

    Marinade the pork belly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce and sesame oil.

    Add the beaten egg, mix well and set aside.

    Combine ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, cornstarch and water for the sauce.

    Add all purpose flour to the meat and mix well.

    Coat the pork belly in cornstarch.

    Heat the oil to 165C and fry the pork belly for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.

    Heat the oil over medium high heat in a wok.

    Add the capsicum or bell pepper. Stir fry for 1 minute. Then, add in garlic and sauté until fragrant.

    Add in the sauce and cook the sauce until it thickens.

    Add in the cooked pork belly and mix well until everything is coated with the sauce.

    Serve with hot steamed rice, garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
