In a sauce pan, whisk together nut milk and starch over medium heat on the stove until dissolved (it won’t be thick yet, still milk-like).

Add in the butter and garlic powder and keep stirring until melted and combined.

Mix in the rest of the ingredients except the capers.

Let this come to a boil and start to thicken, constantly stirring for a minute once it does.

Then fully remove from heat and continue to stir for a couple more minutes.

Add in capers at the end, then add to your favorite pasta noodles!
