Chop up broccoli into small florets.

To create the sauce, mix all the ingredients listed above together in a bowl.

Freeze steak for 30 minutes or until firm.

Slice the steak into thin strips.

Place the steak in a bowl along with the marinade listed above.

Heat a wok and place enough oil in it to shallow fry the steak.

Cook the steak for 3 minutes or until the color darkens.

Remove the steak to a paper towel lined plate.

Cook the broccoli for 30-60 seconds until it is vibrant green.

Remove the broccoli to a paper towel lined plate.

In the same pan, remove oil if needed until the bottom of the pan is just lightly coated.

Cook the minced garlic and grated ginger for 30 seconds.

Add back in the beef and broccoli.

Add in the sauce and cook until it thickens, stirring frequently.

Remove from heat and serve with rice.
