Start by salting the lamb added to a pot along with half an onion, the bay leaves, peppercorns, and 3 cups of water.

Let the lamp simmer for 30 minutes.

Dice the other half of the onion and sauté it in a bit olive oil. Then add the okra and the a bit of color.

Blend the tomatoes, garlic, and tomato purée.

Once the lamb is almost soft Add the okra the tomato sauce with a bit of salt and let the pot simmer for 30 minutes.

Wash 2 cups of @canarybasmati then soak it for 30 minutes.

To the vermicelli noodles in a bit of olive oil and once they’re brown, add the rice along with 3 cups of water and once it boils the heat to a simmer cover and let it cook for 20 minutes.

Chopped as much or as little garlic as you prefer then fried a bit of olive oil and once it browns add a big handful of chopped basil.

Pour the garlic and basil in the okra pot and stir very gently.

Serve the stew on a bed of rice and enjoy.
