Steak Salad Sundays

Feta Vinaigrette

Directions

    Pat dry and coat each side generously in kosher salt and black pepper

    Heat up a little avocado oil in a cast iron pan over medium high heat.

    Once your pan is super hot, add the steak. Let it cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes.

    Flip and let it cook another 3-4 minutes undisturbed (med rare).

    During the last minute or so of cook time, add a little butter to your pan and baste the steak continuously.

    Use a meat thermometer to check temperature and determine if it is done or needs another minute or so. For med rare, pull off once it hits 125-130 degrees.

    Total cook time will depend on size of steak, so adjust accordingly.

    After you remove from heat, let rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.
