This TORTILLA SOUP is so comforting and nourishing!

    Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

    Add in onion and celery and cook until soft ~3-5 minutes.

    Add in minced garlic and stir again.

  4. 4

    Add in tomatoes and stir frequently until tomatoes are soft ~3-5 minutes.

    Transfer veggies to a high speed blender with 1 1/2 cups of water. Blend until smooth.

    Pour blended soup back into the pot and add in bone broth, carrots, chicken and spices.

    Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer. Let the soup cook until carrots are soft or desired consistency is achieved. The longer you simmer, the more the soup will reduce down.

    Add in MASA chips and stir.

    When you are ready to serve, transfer to bowls and top with cilantro, avocado, pickled jalapeños and more MASA of course!
