Golden Chicken Rice
a one-pot wonder that’s no fuss, packed with flavour, and perfect for the Mid-Autumn Festival!

Add the rinsed jasmine rice into the rice cooker bowl followed by turmeric powder, chicken, carrot, peas, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and chicken stock. Give it a mix to make sure everything is combined.

Close the lid and turn on the rice cooker to cook until the rice is fluffy and the chicken is tender (about 20-25 minutes).

While the rice is cooking, fry up your sunny-side-up eggs.

Once the rice cooker is done, fluff the rice, and scoop it into serving bowls.

Top each serving with an egg to represent the full moon.

Drizzle with chilli oil and garnish with spring onion and coriander.
