Vanilla cake with toasted almonds

    Whisk sugar with butter with electric beater or in a stand mixer for 3-5 min until pale and creamy.

    Add egg one by one and beat again for 2-3 min.

    Add the sifted flour with baking powder and beating slowly until all is mixed well together.

    Add vanilla extract and warm milk and fold with the spatula.

  5. 5

    Add chopped almonds on the top.

    Transfer the batter to the baking tin.

    Bake in the preheated oven @180 * Celsius for 40-45 min or until skewer comes out clean.

    Cool completely over the rack.

    Enjoy with tea or coffee.
