A dark chocolate brownie meets a pumpkin spice chocolate chips cookie.

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    In a medium bowl whisk together the butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Fold in the baking soda, salt, cocoa powder and flour. Set aside.

    For the cookie dough, in a medium bowl cream the butter and sugars. Add vanilla, eggs, and pumpkin. Fold in the baking soda, salt, spices, and flour. Fold in the chocolate chips.

    Add alternating scoops of the brownie batter and pumpkin spice cookie dough to a parchment lined square pan (I used 9x9 but 8x8 works too).

    Bake for about 25 mins or until the brownie has a crackly top and the cookie is just golden brown.

    Once the brookies cool, slice into squares and enjoy!
