Maple Glazed Chai Scones
Scones are so easy to make, and one of my family’s favorite treats.

Whisk together flour, baking powder, spices, and sugar. Add the butter and rub it into the dry mixture using your fingertips. Add in half & half a little at a time, mixing until the dough just comes together.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap forming a disc and freeze for 30 minutes to chill (dough can be refrigerated overnight or frozen for however long until ready to bake).

Slice the disc into 8 triangles. Place on a parchment lined baking tray. Brush with more half and half and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.

Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.

Whisk together all glaze ingredients in a medium bowl. Spoon glaze on top of each scone while they are still slightly warm.
