In a deep medium cooking pot, add the soaked lentils with onions, garlic and the dry powder spices. Add 2 cups of water and cook on high heat until the lentils are fully cooked and the water is absorbed.

Add the chopped peaches and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes or until it’s soft.

Add in the coconut milk and cook on high heat for 4- 5 minutes or until the sauce is thickened.

Remove from the heat and do the Tarka with the whole spices.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice, naan or paratha.
