Mango Matcha Sticky Rice Served With Coconut Whipped Cream

Mango sticky rice is one of my favorite Thai desserts, the chewy sticky rice, paired with the sweet, silky mango is a lovely combination!

Directions

    Rinse the glutinous rice for few times and soak them in matcha water for at least 4 hours.

    Drain and add water and coconut milk and a pinch of salt. Cook on high heat until the rice is fully cooked and all the coconut milk is absorbed!

    Add the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cover with a lid and let it rest until it absorbs the sugar about 30 minutes or more!

    Whipped the coconut cream with icing sugar and keep it in the fridge until it’s time to serve!

    Serve the sticky rice together with very ripe mango and coconut whipped cream. Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on top and ENJOY!
